Bought on 3rd of November 2000 with an odo reading of 174,289 km / 108,298 miles
Current odo reading 294,678 km / 183,105 miles (21st of August 2004)
Modding:
> illuminated sidelights front aswell as rear;

> According to a Cheese Wedge Turbo guru the previous owner has tweaked the turbo one way or another as the turbogauge needle hits the end of the 'red zone' whenever I feel the urge to.

Just wondering how much did you drop the car by? 35mm? I did have a 35mm drop but then wanted a bit more so got some customised to 65mm. Also i fitted the dump valve from Kalmar Union and wasnt sure whether to get the Bleed valve aswell, do you think its worth it? How much difference does it make?

Apparently it is a pretty easy job as long as you are organised and have some time in hand.
I didn't do mine myself though, ;-) I got my Volvo dealer to do it.
That way if anything cocked up, they would have to fix it. However it all went well and the labour wasn't much, about £60 I think and the rest was the cost of the 2 brand new headlamps.
(approx £136+VAT each). I got the T4 style clear indictators later on too. Another £35+VAT a corner. Second hand would have been OK I suppose, but brand new lights make the car look very nice indeed.

Chris, thanks for the rating!! tried my best with the pics, but with couldnt help the weather in 'sunny' sheffield. Traction control is a definite upgrade and probably a must (heard nothing but good things about Racelogic). I would like a chip, but am a little concerned as to whether the engine will take the extra loads. springs and brakes are a maybe and the R front bumper is a love to have, but I'll probably have to buy one new!
Dave, thanks! what a coincidence, I bought them from a guy called Dave who had a V70 AWD just like yours!! wouldnt dream of watchin dvd's while driving (thats the passengers job)
