EBS, a Belgian Company, joined forces with Robert Koch. They built a Cabrio Version without rollbar. And predicted an annual production between 1,000 and 2,000 units. Unfortunately Volvo Headquarters didn’t share that optimism and disapproved this version, which effectively killed the project. It was one of the surviving EBS & Koch cabrio's which we actually saw on the 3rd of April 2004.

Bought on 3rd of November 2000 with an odo reading of 174,289 km / 108,298 miles
Current odo reading 294,678 km / 183,105 miles (21st of August 2004)
Modding:
> illuminated sidelights front aswell as rear;
> high level third brake light and
> According to a Cheese Wedge Turbo guru the previous owner has tweaked the turbo one way or another as the turbogauge needle hits the end of the 'red zone' whenever I feel the urge to.
