Yeah, just found an adaptor on the internet that goes from the input to the CD changer on the back of the Head Unit, and turns to RCA wires so you can wire up an iPod (or even a Walkman, so i can re-live my Dreamscape days....aah, the memories!). Cheers for that. You ought to get some new pic's up, i'd like to see an up to date pic-that exhaust sounds quite nice!

Not a lot really. Had a Pipercross Induction Kit fitted which has made a fair bit of difference. The exhaust note is a lot smoother and sounds a bit tougher now. There seems to be a bit more power at low revs and it feels a fair bit more responsive, but its still a 1.6. I had all the rubstrips colour coded and I also picked up one of the rear registration reflector plates of a '96 440. Just waiting for the next student loan for a set of rims and a Bilstein suspension kit, fingers crossed.


I like the idea of the 440 bodykit, although I thought that front splitter on the red 440 you've posted looks good.


I don't know if this is any use to you but Alpine now do a conection that runs from your iPod to an Alpine Ai-Net head unit. You can control it all from the head unit, just like a Cd changer. Mite be worth a look though.

Other than a few more scuff's on my alloys and one amp 'out of action' (i think it's been fried :-/), no further mod's unfortunatley! Am working on wiring my iPod up to the stereo though...had my laptop running through it and it's so much better than CD's-no skipping or jumping tunes and my entire CD collection in my car...should be interesting! Just got to wait for father Christmas to bring it now (i paid for the bugger and he's taken it off me!).


I am working on something though...think people might think i'm taking the pi** though...check the link and see what you think...

Hi Colin. I'm not going to tell you because i want to be the only one! Ha! Just kidding...here's the address to his website. You will need to buy orange bulbs, but they are well easy to locate. He's a good chap-don't know if he has loads left so might be worth emailing him straight away. His address is on the webpage...€22, which worked out to about £15 (ish) inc. P+P.
