Bulb holders needed a little modification to fit on christmas day, so i just popped the orange ones in as the lights only took 10 mins to change. They have now duley been replaced with genuine Silvatec bulbs...much nicer! Not too keen on the grey wing mirror mind you! I'll get a newer pic up soon...

The person who is doing my ECU only does Turbo's i'm afraid! Big wheels do look good, on my 440 they looked good...the 480 is a smaller car though, so to keep it subtle i'll just leave the wheels on there already. I want people to think it's just a standard motor...until i put my foot down!

I agree about the 17's although I may go down that route! When pushing it the low sidewalls can make the handling unpredictable although you cannot argue the asthetic value of big wheels! Where you getting the ecu remapped? Do you reckon they could do anything with my 2.0 440! Lovely car keep us posted

Lovely car but I have a technical question!!! I'd have posted it on the forum but it won't let me login anymore! Anyway How do you remove the rub strips on the side! I had a look at mine but they seem to be stuck there pretty well! Will there be holes to fill or just a load of glue to remove!?!

Cheers! Not much more to say really... It's getting some clear front indicators soon and i'm puttng in a half leather interior with some custom made leather door cards today. On the list of 'to do' is a replacement air filter (just a better one that sits in the airbox), some grooved Black Diamond brake discs, lowering, a much smaller stereo than my 440 (going for an SQ system using Infinty components etc)...and i'm toying with the idea of having the wheels re-finished in a kind of darkish grey (not too dark though). Not going for 17's as tyres are too expensive, but i like the original Volvo alloys anyway, and it handles really well on them. Oh, and i'm having my ECU re-mapped to take it from 121hp to 170hp (hence the better brakes) for £80.


I just think subtle (as with any Volvo) is the way forward. From the outside i just want it to look normal, but just really well done. I'll keep updated pics on here and on my 'www'! Dan :-)
