To be honest, I have no idea where the picture was taken.. but you're right that is an american ford escort... There's a good enough chance that, that car got around though. In fact I would be surprised if it wasn't an European design.. note that none of the other cars are easily catagorized as American.

I just wish more people saw your cars!
Love the philosophy of keeping em clean and smooth. No garish body kits, stickers or stupidly large wheels. I tried to emulate your look with mine but sadly shes fallen to the way-side recently. Perhaps moving from her current storage to pastures new will inspire me to get back to work. Engine out and all

Cheers Colin! Really, no more mod's planned-maybe a wheel re-furb to take the marks where the weights were but thats it! And yes, she does shift (i can't legally say how much though lol).
I am *possibly* considering another 440, but not in place of the 480, as a side project to keep me busy! Got alot of commitments though, but def. considering it... I did love the 440, plus i learnt alot on the last one so i can save a fair bit of money this time over...
Cheers for the comments though!

Where was this taken? That's an American Ford Escort in front of the Volvo. It rightfully belongs in the scrapyard, unlike the Volvo, but I didn't think any of those things made it out of the Americas.
